The Sustainable Strut is a student-led fashion show dedicated to showcasing ethically-sourced, thrifted, upcycled and handmade fashion.
The show featured various student fashion organizations, designers and models with the mission of bringing awareness to the environmental cost of fast fashion and textile pollution. Bringing together students of different perspectives and backgrounds, the Sustainable Strut was first launched in March 2023 and revamped in February 2024.
Working with my Environmental Affairs team in Undergraduate Student Government, we held three successful shows, each with an audience of 125+ people.
